Time flies
So I think the last time I wrote here it was the start of the year and I was amazed that we were getting married this year! Now we are getting married in about 17 days! How times fly when you travel the world! Since that post we have been in Brazil, listed twice both time at about 14 degrees in about the same part of water, done an Atlantic crossing, been to a couple more new ports, spent 14+ hours in the Venice Airport, Spent a total of about 33 hours in the UK, Flown to home to Victoria where I have not been in 2 years and not seen my family in a year and a half!
Then in the next month Ben’s mum, sister, and grandparents all come to Canada for the first time. Ben’s best man and best friend Andrew (Andy) and his fiancee Andrea (Andi/Tynan) are coming to Canada also for their first time. We are getting Married!!! We get to spend a lot of time in Victoria, so no need for an over priced honeymoon (we do work on a cruise ship after all).
Wish Tree
- Instead of a guest book we are having a wish tree and were thinking of making a note of that in the invites so people can think of a quote or saying so when they come they are prepared, and possbly attaching a card with the invite so they can pre-write it. So the question is.... How should we word this in the invites or should we at all?!

This will be next year when Ben and I get married!!! love!!! I actually laughed out loud once by my self and then laughed harder when I made Ben watch it!!!!
I am very torn! I keep have this feeling that people that I have been friends with for some time think they are going to be invited to the wedding next year but not sure how to tell them that they are not coming due to us not having much money and wanting a small wedding. We can only have 60 people at the venue and that is all ready filled with family! ugh!
Unusual way to display seating chart… I like!!

LOve!!!!
Idea spotted on greatweddingfinds, simple tutorial via Brides:
1. Fill ice cube trays one-third full with distilled water
2. Freeze for one hour then add small flowers or mint leaves
3. Add more water and freeze all the way.
